Cabrera was founded in 1994 by Lorenzo Cabrera, a radiological physicist and safety professional, as an environmental firm specializing in the investigation and remediation of radioactive contaminants.

 

After operating successfully for several years, Cabrera qualified for the SBA’s 8(a) program facilitating greater participation in more federal contracts. Since graduating from the 8(a) program in 2007, we have continued to expand our client base and successfully perform both environmental and radiological remediation projects with increasing complexities. Cabrera strategically develops its teaming approach for work we pursue to win competitive contract awards and continually grow our capabilities. We currently prime one of the largest USACE FUSRAP single award contracts at Maywood, NJ.
